Karie Culbertson, M.A., currently serves the surrounding Houston area to empower individuals to achieve excellence, freedom, and significance. She focuses on working with students and young adults as they prepare to enter high school, college, graduate school, or their profession. As a Birkman® Certified Professional, she identifies and maximizes strengths, manages expectations and needs, and understands personality and interactive styles.

Karie’s passion for inspiring and mentoring ignited when she led her first personality styles workshop during college, and she has taught, counseled, and consulted with students and individuals for over twenty years. She utilizes her experience and expertise to collaborate with students through developing relationships and identifying areas of potential success to achieve goals. With her unique experience as an English teacher, lead school counselor, and mentor, Karie’s strengths lie in developing rapport with students and motivating them to pursue excellence in all endeavors.  

In her spare time, Karie enjoys spending time with her husband, fifteen-year-old twin daughters, and her two Pugs.   • Worked as a high school counselor in Spring Branch ISD for four years; served as lead counselor for final two years
